![]() Since 1953 the Caribou Gun Club has been serving shooters initially starting with trap and expanding the trap ranges in 1960. In 1972 ATA was started and skeet was added in 1975. A rifle range was set up in 1981 when son Randy was out of the Army. Randy, a top trap shooter was on the International Army Trap Team and they won the Gold in Seoul Korea. Another son Scott was the youngest person to ever hold an ATA card at the age of 7. (It runs in the family) The hunting preserve started in 1986 and has been expanding continually with 700 acres of beautiful ground, rolling hills, trees and 28 separate hunting fields. Sporting Clays started in 1992, a second range was added in 1994 and the third range added in 1998. The 5 Stand was also added in 1998. With 5 - 15 foot towers and two 60 foot towers; further improvement was made with fully automated courses. Today the Caribou Gun Club is one of the top gun clubs in the country holding State, National and International Competition Shoots. A great log cabin for overnight and weekends, a full kitchen, and club house where you can get your favorite beverage. The expanded Club House and Banquet Facility provides ample room for meetings, banquets or weddings. You can even take a sleigh or hay ride on your special occasion. The Caribou Gun Club is family friendly. There is also a near by airport for private planes. ![]() ![]() |
